Sr Project Manager - Diverse Construction Projects

OverviewOur client is a well respected and established Indiana based General Contractor with 100+ years of delivering successful, local projects in the Healthcare, Commercial, and Higher Education markets. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for ensuring projects are planned, coordinated, and completed in a timely, efficient, and profitable manner. This role oversees all aspects of assigned projects from preconstruction through closeout and maintains full accountability for project performance.Experience / Qualifications10+ years of construction experience, healthcare or higher education project experience preferredBachelor’s degree in a construction related field preferredOSHA 10 certification preferredAbility to pass standard background and screening requirementsWillingness to pursue additional training and professional developmentCore Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of the construction industry and project delivery methodsProven ability to develop accurate budgets, schedules, and cost projectionsExperience managing contracts, change orders, and risk mitigationSkilled in coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendorsAbility to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and deadlinesStrong leadership skills with experience supervising field teams and mentoring staffProficiency in project management software and Microsoft OfficeExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesPartner with preconstruction teams to develop budgets, proposals, and schedulesOversee project setup, including cost tracking, billing structures, and schedulingLead procurement and buyout of subcontractors, materials, and equipmentManage day-to-day project execution, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and safety goals are metMaintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfactionMonitor project financials, including cost tracking, forecasting, and billingOversee change management processes, including documentation and approvalsCoordinate RFIs, submittals, and field communication to resolve issues proactivelyEnsure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policiesLead project closeout, including punch list completion and final documentationMentor and support project managers and engineersPerformance ExpectationsProjects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract documentsFinancial projections are accurate and maintained throughout the project lifecycleHigh levels of client satisfaction and repeat businessAccurate, timely, and complete project documentationAdherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards
