As a registered professional nurse, you will be responsible for delivering patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, while guiding patient teaching and ancillary personnel activities. Your commitment to superior performance will enhance the patient and family experience.Primary ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions.Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and their families.Promote patient independence through education on condition, medications, and self-care.Ensure quality care by adhering to therapeutic standards and hospital policies.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve patient issues and needs.Maintain infection-control protocols and medication administration procedures.Communicate effectively within healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.Utilize leadership skills to delegate, communicate, and evaluate team members.Recognize and respond to changes in patient status with appropriate interventions.Provide ongoing education to patients and families based on assessments.Prioritize care based on individual patient needs and initiate referrals as necessary.Participate in continuous education and hospital committees for performance improvement.Ensure patient safety and effective use of equipment and technology.Support hospital mission, vision, and values through professional conduct.Submission Requirements2 years of Med Surg experienceExperience with floating to PCUProficient with TelemetryACLS (AHA) & BLS (AHA) certificationsCovid Vaccine (exemptions allowed)Active Michigan State LicenseAbout the FacilityMemorial Healthcare is a not-for-profit hospital with 161 beds, over 200 medical staff, and 1,400 employees.
