Intake Director

Job DescriptionThe Director of Intake is responsible for overseeing the intake process for new clients in a home care settingThis role requires a combination of managerial skills, industry knowledge, and experience in care coordination and client managementThe Director of Intake will ensure the efficient and effective processing of client admissions, maintain compliance with home care regulations, and work closely with clients, families, healthcare providers, and internal staff to deliver high-quality careLead and manage the intake team to ensure high performance and professional developmentDevelop and implement procedures for the intake process to enhance efficiency and effectivenessOversee the client intake process, including assessments, authorizations, and documentationEnsure timely and accurate processing of client admissions in compliance with home care regulations and best practicesMaintain a thorough understanding of home care regulations and reimbursement systemsEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and proceduresCommunicate effectively with clients, families, healthcare providers, and internal staff to coordinate care and address concernsFoster positive relationships with external partnersAnalyze data and interpret trends to make informed decisions that optimize the intake process and client outcomesMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements as neededUtilize hha exchange and ZOHO systems and other software tools to manage client information and track intake processes
