Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Product Repair/Modification Technician to support the Maintenance Team in Heath, Ohio.This role will have a heavy focus on electro-mechanical skills to include emphasis on wire harness routing & repair, installation of ESD components, electrical grounding & testing, and test instrumentation installation.Position Responsibilities:Disassembles systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changesPerforms routine troubleshooting of electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty componentsPerforms validation/verification testing of systems and componentsInspects component before installation or usage to verify cleanliness and serviceability of componentsFabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specificationsPerforms tasks associated with the safe handling of an aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations)Works under general supervisionBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):1+ years’ experience with electrical/electronic troubleshooting, routing, splicing, connectors, bundle dressing, etc.Experience with electrical and/or instrumentation test equipmentExperience reading and interpreting basic engineering drawings and specificationsExperience using basic Microsoft Office and office computing systemsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience with instrumentation calibration and useDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
