This position is full-time.Required SkillsCMF Developer Responsibilities:Support the industrial design team through implementation of material design specificationsEstablish and maintain quality standards and consistency across a portfolio of materialsInterface with industry and manufacturing partners to research and develop proprietary material combinations and new production techniquesLead the resolution of design, prototyping and manufacturing issues during the development phaseCommunicate and resolve manufacturing and prototyping challengesManage and maintain CMF product specifications for products in development from concept to productionOccasional domestic and international travel is a requirement for this positionMinimum QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelors of Industrial Design from an accredited college or university, or relevant professional experience10+ years experience working as a CMF Designer/DeveloperAbility to communicate design vision and concepts using traditional techniques to internal teams and LeadershipExpert knowledge of plastic injection molding processes, metal fabrication techniques, resin development, coating technologies, plastics decoration processes, fabrics and textilesExperience working directly with materials suppliers, manufacturing partners and cross-functional teams to solve complex product problems at scaleWorking knowledge of 3D CAD and digital visualization softwarePublic Compensation$144,000/year to $204,000/year + bonus + equity + benefitsIndustryInternetEqual OpportunityMeta is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affrimative Action employer.
