Construction Project Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee complex infrastructure projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise in construction management, scheduling, cost control, and regulatory compliance will drive project success while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets. Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software; coordinate construction schedule updates and adjustments as needed. Manage project budgets by tracking costs, preparing estimates, and implementing cost control measures utilizing HeavyBid or comparable estimating tools. Oversee construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards. Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and contracts to guide project execution accurately. Coordinate with design teams on construction plans and schematics; ensure seamless communication between all project stakeholders. Supervise and manage teams on-site; assign tasks, monitor progress, and foster a collaborative team environment focused on safety and quality. Ensure regulatory compliance by adhering to local construction regulations and industry standards throughout all phases of the project. Utilize construction management software such as Buildertrend for documentation, tracking progress, and reporting. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and safety procedures; address issues promptly to minimize delays. Skills Extensive experience with construction site management across residential projects Proficiency in project scheduling tools and software (BuilderTrend) Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and cost management practices. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately; excellent blueprint reading skills. Proven leadership in managing teams within a fast-paced construction environment; excellent communication skills for effective project coordination. Deep understanding of construction regulations, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements. Experience managing contracts, change orders, and negotiations with clients or subcontractors. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
