This individual assists with long-range financial planning, oversees accounts receivable, and manages critical district records and compliance reporting.Education and Licensure Requirements:Bachelor's or Master's DegreeMust have Treasurer's license Key Responsibilities:Financial Strategy: Collaborates with the Treasurer/CFO on developing the five-year financial forecast and annual budget line items.Fiscal Operations: Manages accounts receivable, invoicing, and refund processing.Reporting & Reconciliation: Prepares monthly financial reports, balances ledgers, and analyzes account activities to ensure accuracy.Compliance & Personnel: Oversees the issuance of employment contracts and salary notices, manages staff work calendars, and coordinates workers' compensation claims.Asset Management: Maintains an accurate district-wide inventory control system and oversees records retention and disposal schedules.Qualifications & Skills:Technical Expertise: Proficiency with State Accounting Software and document management systems such as SCView is preferred.Educational Foundation: A record of academic and professional experience in governmental accounting/auditing procedures.Communication: Exceptional written and oral communication skills are required to interact with staff and the public.Attributes: A team-oriented approach to problem-solving, excellent time management, and the ability to recognize and correct errors independently.Integrity: Must embody high ethical standards and meet all prerequisite qualifications to be bonded.Qualified internal candidates should submit a letter of interest to Brad Contat, Director of Human Resources.
