Client Account and Project Manager
Client Account and Project Manager
Red Rover Promotions (redroverpromo.com) is growing, and we’re looking for a confident, curious, highly capable Client Account and Project Manager to grow with us.
We’re a boutique branded merchandise agency serving corporate clients across the country. Our work lives at the intersection of client relationships, creative problem-solving, and flawless execution — often under very real time pressure.
We do much more than deliver swag. We help HR directors welcome a new employee, CMO’s launch new initiatives, and Event Managers pull off an amazing sales kick-off.
If you thrive in fast-moving environments, enjoy juggling complexity, and take real pride in helping others shine, this role may be for you.
We Operate from Our Why: To Bring Ease, Authenticity and Delight
…And we serve from a place of Unreasonable Hospitality. (Inspired by Unreasonable Hospitality by Will Guidara — an approach rooted in care, not just “good service.”)
Our clients trust us with high-stakes, time-sensitive work, and we take that responsibility personally. We don’t just execute tasks — we anticipate needs, notice what’s missing, and step in before problems escalate.
We take our work seriously, but not ourselves.
We care deeply about our clients and about one another, and we believe great work can feel both rigorous and human.
This role requires judgment, empathy, and follow-through. You are often the calm, steady presence for a client while things are moving fast behind the scenes.
Picture This
You step into the middle of a fast-moving situation with many pieces in play — and a clock already ticking. The project may have started yesterday, and the delivery date may be next week. Information is incomplete, plans are still forming, and priorities will likely shift more than once before the job is done.
While there is great software and solid best practices in place, there aren’t a lot of rules. You’re trusted to use judgment, make decisions, and keep things moving forward without waiting for perfect clarity.
You enjoy figuring out what matters most right now, taking a smart first step, and steadily bringing order to complexity — even as new variables emerge. You know when to proceed, when to pause, and when to escalate.
When it all comes together, you step back, slightly amazed that a few days ago this felt impossible — and now it’s shipping.
Our clients trust us with their events and initiatives, and we take that responsibility seriously. This role requires someone who cares deeply about doing right by others, anticipates needs before they’re voiced, and brings clarity, and kindness — even when things are moving fast.
A Clear Warning (Please Read)
This is not a transactional role. It is highly relational and valued. And no day is like any other. No project is like any other.
This is not chaos for chaos’s sake. We move quickly because we care — and because our clients need steady judgment, not rigid process.
Our clients rely on us for clear communication, and follow-through, especially when things are moving fast and plans are changing.
To be very clear:
Projects often have short arcs (days to a few weeks, not months)
Timelines compress; priorities shift; information arrives out of order
We frequently start before every detail is known — and adjust in real time
Suppliers, artwork, shipping, and logistics introduce curve balls daily (sometimes hourly)
If you thrive in fast-moving, imperfect, high-responsibility environments, this will feel energizing.
If you prefer long planning cycles, fixed scopes, or lots of rules, this role will feel exhausting.
Why This Role Exists
As Red Rover grows, our senior client leads spend more time initiating new relationships, shaping strategy, and opening new doors.
This role is ideal for someone who has supported executives, client leads, or senior teams and understands that great support isn’t passive.
You’ll function as a trusted right hand — someone who doesn’t wait to be told what to do, anticipates what’s coming next, and uses good judgment to keep work moving even when things are messy. You may need to move a project forward even when artwork isn’t final, a shipping address changes, or a vendor misses a beat.
Your work ensures our clients feel deeply supported, projects move forward smoothly, and nothing critical slips, even when conditions change, and the word “pivot” is a main word in your vocabulary!
What You’ll Be Doing
Stewarding client projects from kickoff through delivery, including:
ideation and early recommendations
presentations and quotes
purchase orders, production tracking, and on-time delivery
Communicating clearly and proactively with clients, suppliers, and teammates
Managing multiple projects at once, prioritizing intelligently as conditions change
Identifying risks early and escalating thoughtfully when needed
Acting as a primary point of trust for clients — helping them feel informed, supported, and confident even when plans are shifting.
Being willing to pick up the phone when that’s the next right thing to do, whether to call a client or a vendor
Building client confidence because they know things are being handled—even when timelines are tight.
Proactively suggesting product ideas, additional services, or approaches aligned with client goals
You’ll help shape how we show up to clients — creating first-pass ideas, lookbooks, or recommendations that help spark conversations and move projects forward.
