This role requires strong attention to detail when working with parts, work orders, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The Production Operative works closely with the Team Leader and General Foreman to ensure daily schedules are communicated, followed, and completed to meet quality and customer service expectations.Primary ResponsibilitiesPrepare, process, and move parts through electroplating or coating operationsPerform general inspection and counting of customer partsConduct abrasive blastingRack parts for processingAccurately record plating times and all required processing dataClean parts as requiredPerform masking and de-masking of partsTransport parts to the next processing stageMaintain compliance with all inspection, audit, and documentation standardsKeep facility, materials, and work areas clean, organized, and properly maintainedUse required PPE and follow all safety proceduresPerform additional duties in other processing areas as workload demandsAdditional InformationThis job description provides a representative overview of the role's major duties and responsibilities.
