Job Opportunity: Pediatric Hospitalist Inpatient CoverageLocation: Fort Myers, Florida (must hold active FL license)Start Date: December 2025 (coverage through December, possible extension into January)Schedule: Days, nights, and weekends available 12- or 24-hour shiftsDay Shift: 6:00 AM 6:00 PMNight Shift: 6:00 PM 6:00 AMCoverage needed 7 days per week Assignment OverviewThe Pediatric Hospitalist will provide inpatient pediatric care, including rounding on general pediatric patients, managing admissions, and collaborating with subspecialists. Provider must be independent in lumbar punctures. ResponsibilitiesInpatient rounding on general pediatric patientsManage admissions for new patientsCollaborate with subspecialists and multidisciplinary teamsPerform lumbar punctures independentlyProvide 12- or 24-hour call coverage depending on shift assignment Candidate RequirementsBoard Certified in PediatricsActive Florida License (required)BLS (AHA) certificationNICA membership/receipts requiredMust submit the following for consideration:Updated CVNPDB report (within 3 months; must be clean)Case logs: 24 inpatient records from the past 12 months (primary source, not personal logs; include patient ages if possible)Documentation of board certification and Florida license
