Project Engineer
Our client is hiring a Project Engineer that will be responsible for managing land development projects, from concept plan to construction completion. The preferred candidate is a self-starter with the ability to complete team-based and independent projects with minimal supervision.Responsibilities:Managing capital improvement projects (paving, drainage, amenity additions, etc.)Managing water and sewer line and treatment plant upgrade projects for our 65+ privately owned water and wastewater treatment facilities and 70+ lift stations, from concept to construction completionAssisting with due diligence for commercial property acquisitionRequirements:Bachelors of Science in Civil, Structural, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering is preferred; other technical degrees may be acceptable with appropriate experience4+ years' experience in engineering/project management is preferredProfessional Engineer License preferred ; candidates without PE License may be accepted with suitable professional experienceAbility to travel to project sites is required - approximately 25% with some overnight travelExperience with land development and construction management is preferredExperience with water and sewage systems is preferredExperience in operations or design of wastewater package plants and private well systems a plus is preferredExperience with roadway design, survey, and environmental permitting is preferredBenefitsPEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
