JobSummaryAs Warehouse Supervisor at L&S Mechanical, you will be responsible for supporting the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily operations within the warehouse. Primary FunctionsAssisting with Inventory Management Lead a team of 1-4 Warehouse Workers Understand and execute critical processes Execute and interpret reports Open Order Report Released Report Unreleased Report Partial Release Report Coordinating staff schedules Ensure compliance with safety protocols Problem solving & research Lead and/or mentor Warehouse Workers including the training and development of warehouse staff Follow established safety guidelines. Provide excellent customer service to our internal and external customers to include, but not limited to: Production Subcontractors Vendors Purchasing Proactive communication to management regarding issues and concerns QualificationsAbility to perform the physical demands of the position - working in indoor and outdoor elements with extreme variation in temperatures and weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow); climbing ladders and steep stairs, crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching, able to routinely lift heavy objects more than 50 pounds and pushing and pulling of objects Forklift Certification Ability and willingness to learn both systems and equipment used in a warehouse setting Competent to take direction with a positive attitude and complete quality of work on schedule Attention to detail Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.
