In this role you will assist in the creation of custom wood cabinets following the shop drawings in various stages of the project.There is never a dull moment, as each cabinet is custom. Attention to detail, cabinet construction knowledge, professionalism and quick thinking are essential.At CWP, you get to work with the best coworkers in the land, work "day shift" hours and stay clean!Work Schedule:M-F 7am-3:30pm, and must also be available for overtime to work as needed, working until 5:30pm with occasional Saturdays 7am-12pm to help meet project deadlines.Job Duties:Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools including but not limited to table saws, drivers, drill presses, shapers, routers, sanders, planers, and other wood-fastening equipment.Ensure products are assembled correctly for safety and purposeful useRead and interpret shop drawingsRead and use tape measureIdentify multiple species of woodOperate shop computers and softwareMove cabinets to next phase of constructionQualifications:HS Diploma or equivalent preferredExperience with woodworking/construction projects preferredExperience in manufacturing environment helpfulAbility to read/interpret shop drawings and utilize/read tape measureAbility to lift large cabinets with assistanceEqual Opportunity Employer
