Job Description: Quality Engineer – with Pega TestingAtlanta, GA and San Fransico, CA/ HybridRole SummaryThe AI Automation Quality Engineer develops intelligent, scalable test automation solutions using AI/GenAI, modern automation frameworks, and software engineering practices to maximize test coverage and delivery speed. This is a hands-on engineering and automation development role, not a manual QA position.Key ResponsibilitiesAutomated Framework Development: Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API (REST/SOAP), regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across enterprise applications.AI-Assisted Test Engineering: Utilize GenAI tools to accelerate test case creation, automation script generation, test data management, script maintenance, defect analysis, and root-cause analysis.Continuous Integration: Integrate automated regression suites into CI/CD pipelines to provide continuous quality metrics supporting release-readiness decisions.Risk & Coverage Optimization: Leverage AI to detect coverage gaps, regression risks, edge cases, and potential failure points.Technical Requirements & ExpectationsMust-Have Skills & CapabilitiesAutomation Engineering: Hands-on development of reusable automation components (Java, Spring Boot APIs, microservices).API Testing: End-to-end automation and validation for REST and SOAP web services.GenAI & AI Testing Tools:AI-assisted code generation (e.g., GitHub Copilot).AI-assisted test case and automated test data generation.Validation of AI/GenAI-enabled application capabilities, including strategies for handling non-deterministic AI outputs.Preferred Experience & Domain ExpertisePega Application Testing:Pega Case Management, Workflows, Case Types, Stages, Assignments, SLAs, and Business Rules.Pega Constellation UI testing.Domain Knowledge: Healthcare (dental insurance, claims, clinical, enrollment, provider networks) or contact center applications.Enterprise Programs: Large-scale enterprise modernization initiatives.
