Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/22/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Title: RN Cath Lab Location: Chicago, IL Shift Type: 5x 8 Days Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Job Description Prepare and assess patients pre- and post-cardiac catheterization procedures. Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements. Monitor patient’s hemodynamic status and ECG during procedures. Administer medications and IV sedation under physician direction. Maintain sterile field and ensure proper documentation of procedures. Respond to emergencies in the lab with appropriate nursing interventions. Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, radiologic technologists, and other healthcare team members. Provide patient education regarding procedures and post-operative care. QualificationsOne (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area years of Med/Surg experienceAdditional Requirements IL RN License BLS and ACLS certifications Note“We are an equal opportunity employer.
