Actuation Assembler

Overview Jomar Valve, a manufacturer and distributor of innovative plumbing, industrial and HVAC components, is seeking an Actuation Assembler to support all of its divisions. The successful candidate would be responsible for a variety of repetitive assembly operations using an assortment of hand tools and power tools. Key Responsibilities Assemble pneumatic and/or electric actuators according to work instructions and bill of materials Perform functional testing on completed actuator assemblies to confirm proper operation Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring schematics, and assembly instructions Use hand tools, air tools, and torque equipment to complete assemblies to specification Inspect components and finished assemblies for defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards Maintain accurate production records, including quantities produced and quality checks completed Identify and report any non-conforming parts or process issues to supervision Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation in accordance with OSHA and company safety guidelines Collaborate with team members and other departments (quality, engineering, warehouse) to resolve production issues Meet daily/weekly production and quality targets Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Prior experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or a related field preferred Ability to read blueprints, wiring schematics, or assembly drawings a plus Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and pneumatic tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75lbs Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment Reliable attendance and punctuality Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75lbs Frequent standing, bending, and repetitive hand/arm motions Use of PPE (safety glasses, gloves, etc.) as required Benefits: 401(k) Paid time off Vacation /Personal days Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Supplemental Insurance Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Application Question(s): How many years of experience do you have driving a Raymond 5400 order picker?
