Job Title: Hardware Engineer (Level 2)Location: North Reading, MA (100% Onsite)Duration: 12 Months ContractPayrate: $50/hr. to $55/hr. on W2Job Description:The Engineering Team is looking for a highly motivated, energetic, technically driven Hardware Engineer to work in the Continuous Hardware Engineering Group responsible for released Semiconductor Test Systems and Instruments. Position will report to the Hardware Engineering Manager in North Reading.The candidate will work to analyze, understand, and with guidance, resolve engineering-related design and obsolescence issues in the following state of the art sub-systems:Base System – Power Infrastructure and Communication Interface, CalibrationDC Instruments – Including High Density, High Accuracy, High Voltage and CurrentAC Instruments – Including High Performance InstrumentsResponsibilitiesTest and qualify replacements for obsolete componentsAnalyze and debug hardware to the component levelTroubleshoot hardware using System SW ToolsWith guidance from senior engineers, evaluate and implement engineering related yield improvementsCollaborate with other groups as neededMust Have:Experience with Analog and Digital Circuit designStrong system and component level troubleshooting experienceEducation requirements of BSEE or equivalentMinimum 5 years of Hardware Engineering Test and/or Development experience
