Job DescriptionAutoZone's Retail Store Setup Crew is the driving force behind the successful launch and transformation of our retail locations nationwide. This hands-on team is responsible for turning empty spaces into fully functional AutoZone stores through expert merchandising, fixture construction, and collaborative teamwork. Every store they touch reflects the high standards and brand identity that customers expect from AutoZone.Role at a GlanceAs a Setup Crew Team Member, you'll be part of a full-time, nationwide traveling team responsible for transforming AutoZone retail spaces into fully operational stores. This role involves hands-on fixture installation, merchandising, and collaboration with local teams to ensure every store meets our brand's high standards. It's ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, have a passion for retail construction, and are excited by the opportunity to travel extensively while making a visible impact.ResponsibilitiesTravel to construction sites and existing store locations across the countryInstall display equipment and merchandise to meet AutoZone's high standardsConstruct fixtures following prototypical floor plansCollaborate with and train local AutoZoners in setup processes and fixture constructionMerchandise new stores and remodel existing ones using detailed planogramsQualificationsWhat We're Looking ForMust be at least 21 years oldValid driver's license that meets AutoZone's standardsWilling and able to travel extensively-up to six to eight weeks at a time or longer if neededAbility to lift up to approximately 70 lbs., load and unload trucks, and move fixtures and merchandiseComfortable with standing for long periods, walking, bending, and maintaining full range of motionCooperative and responsible team player with a willingness to take on additional dutiesYou'll Go the Extra Mile If You HaveExperience with retail construction, fixture setup, or merchandisingFlexibility and comfort working in different cities and environmentsAbility to read and interpret planograms accuratelyStrong communication skills for training and collaborating with local teamsAbout AutozoneSince opening our first store in 1979, AutoZone has grown into a leading retailer and distributor of automotive parts and accessories across the Americas.
