POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for all Point of Sale transactions (P.O.S) and coffee area. Ability to describe all food stations and offerings provided. Communicate all coffee and food related needs to kitchen and management. Assist in overall clean up and stocking in the dining area per opening and closing procedures. Practices “aggressive hospitality” and shows professionalism with guests, co-workers and management 1. Reports to property on time and in proper uniform. 2. Set-up, organizes, coffee area according to standards. 3. Knowledge of menu items. 4. Converses with guests and answers questions regarding all items. 5. Participates in proper sanitation and food handling procedures. 6. Maintains full knowledge of service standards. 7. Performs all other duties as assigned that include daily inventory for coffee items. 8. Performs other duties as necessary. Requires full understanding and knowledge of food and beverage standards, ability to comprehend and communicate in fluent English, outgoing personality, able to move quickly while carrying hot and cold beverages to and from the service areas and kitchen. At least one-year experience as a cashier, food server, buffet attendant or related position within a restaurant, hotel or conference center operation is preferred but not required. Any related, customer service/oriented experience will be considered.
