Must be available every other weekend.What You'll Do Lead, coach, and mentor production associates to meet operational and customer goalsOversee daily production and packaging operations, ensuring first-run quality standardsDrive shift performance to support cost efficiency and productivity targetsManage staffing levels, schedules, attendance, and time-off administrationMonitor shift handoff notes and proactively resolve recurring issuesEnsure compliance with GMP, FSSC22000, and all safety and quality standardsEnforce company policies through leadership, accountability, and coachingSupport a culture of continuous improvement and team-based problem solvingJump in on the floor to assist operators and troubleshoot equipment or process issues as neededWhat You Bring 2+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or 5+ years of progressive leadership experienceStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)Familiarity with food safety systems such as HACCP (preferred)Understanding of ISO standards (ISO22000, ISO9001 is a plus)Solid problem-solving skills and a proactive leadership styleMechanical aptitude and comfort working with production equipmentWorking knowledge of Microsoft OfficeEducation: Associate degree in Management or related field preferredWhat to Expect This is a highly interactive role where you'll spend:85% of your time on the production floor leading your team10% collaborating across departments and in meetings5% in an office settingWhy This Role Stands OutYou'll be part of a team that values quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
