SonSoft Inc is growing at a steady pace specializing in the fields of Software Development, Software Consultancy and Information Technology Enabled Services.Job DescriptionThe client is seeking to engage an experienced Business Analyst in working on a large ERP and Web project. This position will require retail business and SDLC acumen for a Microsoft Dynamics AX and Web application project being implemented using Agile.Primary responsibilities include:Work closely with business and IT Subject Matter Experts to gather, understand and document business and technical requirementsUnderstand the needs of multiple stakeholders and facilitate the negotiation of requirementsIdentify current and future-state business processes, including a gap analysisHelp stakeholders envision the future and how their work will need to change to support itDetermine from business representatives the relative priority of requirementsCreate business requirement documents and enter agile stories in JIRA, including functional and system requirements.Create, analyze, and validate detailed functional specifications according to Client's business analysis standards.Facilitate design sessions with the implementation team to define the best solution.Assist with the resolution of functional questions and other impediments to progressProvide input as to whether implementations have met requirements and are acceptable for release.The successful candidate must:Communicate effectively to all levels of IT and business organizationsPossess strong writing, verbal, interpersonal and analytical skillsHave the ability to see the overall business process at any point in timeUnderstand and be able to apply Agile and/or Scrum methodologyBe organized and detail orientedHave an aptitude to learn about business functionality being deliveredDesired Skills:Experience working with ERP and Web application projectsRetail industry experienceExperience with JIRA and ConfluenceQualificationsA Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Information Systems or related field required3+ years' experience working as a business analyst in multi-faceted, medium to large scale, technical and business-focused projectsMust understand Agile project management methodology and be able to apply it in projectsAdditional Information** U.S. Citizens and those who are authorized to work independently in the United States are encouraged to apply.
