ABOUT THIS POSITION The Corporate Chef will be an integral part of the Genuine Foods culinary team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the menu development and nutritional compliance across multiple verticals. This person will be responsible for overseeing the on site culinary teams and ensuring they are trained and coached properly. The Corporate Chef will assist in creating and implementing new Genuine strategies, policies, etc to keep the department running efficiently and cost effectively. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Researches, creates, writes and tests recipes that optimize ingredient usage and are scalable in all marketplace environments, as well as within a catering portfolio. Develops in collaboration with the marketing team, effective program guides and training materials to ensure the ability to execute programs at unit level. Maintains strategic accountabilities for all culinary development and research, including management and scheduling of kitchen facilities in collaboration with the local teams. Coordinates and works cross-functionally with supply chain, marketing, operations, pricing team, training teams, and sales to integrate recipe development plans and new product roll outs throughout the company in a collaborative, efficient and profitable manner. Organizes, schedules and conducts off-site and virtual trainings with multi-level chefs to introduce new brands and concepts. Will be on-site for initial program trials and launches to ensure a smooth start and that the program meets documented measures for culinary brand standards as possible. Maintains awareness of market activity and new trends in business while communicating ideas for improvement across the company. Data management of recipe and nutrition tech, working alongside partner teams to ensure accurate recipe and ingredient information is entered into the internal recipe database and the information is aligned with sector standards, supply and pricing goals. Maintains an active, up-to-date calendar of project timelines and launch dates. Routinely shares relevant best practices with greater culinary teams. Working alongside external business partner chefs for menu integration and product training support. All other duties as assigned. Prior experience as a Corporate Chef in contract food service. Experience in a management role, leading teams with new concept rollouts, etc. Prior experience crafting menus and other culinary programs. Maintains up to date knowledge of culinary trends, both domestically and internationally. Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently to clients, outside vendors, and internally across departments. Ability to manage a budget and work within those constraints.
