The company provides digital platforms that integrate insurance, online booking, rental management, and risk mitigation capabilities.Position SummarySeeking highly skilled Full Stack Engineers with hands-on experience in Spec-Driven Development (SDD) and a strong background in the Insurance/InsurTech domain. The ideal candidate will have expertise in translating business specifications, insurance workflows, and regulatory requirements into scalable software solutions while collaborating closely with product, underwriting, operations, and engineering teams.This role requires professionals who understand insurance products, policy administration, quoting, risk assessment, claims workflows, and digital insurance ecosystems, in addition to possessing modern full-stack development capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications supporting insurance and risk-management platforms.Translate business and product specifications into technical designs using Spec-Driven Development methodologies.Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Underwriters, and Insurance SMEs to refine requirements and acceptance criteria.Develop customer-facing portals, policy administration systems, quoting engines, booking integrations, and insurance workflows.Build and consume APIs connecting insurance carriers, third-party service providers, payment gateways, booking platforms, and underwriting systems.Participate in architectural discussions and ensure alignment between specifications, technical implementation, and business objectives.Maintain high standards for code quality, automated testing, security, and compliance.Support Agile product development cycles and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Develop reusable components, services, and integrations that accelerate future product development.Required QualificationsTechnical Skills5+ years of Full Stack Development experience.Strong expertise in modern frontend frameworks:React.jsAngular (preferred)TypeScriptJavaScriptHTML5/CSS3Strong backend development experience with one or more:.NET Core / C#Node.jsJavaExperience building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.Database experience with:SQL ServerPostgreSQLMySQLNoSQL databases (preferred)Experience with cloud environments:AWSAzureGCPCI/CD pipeline experience and DevOps practices.Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Spec-Driven Development (SDD) ExperienceProven experience working in Spec-Driven Development environments.Ability to convert detailed functional and business specifications into technical deliverables.Experience using requirements-driven engineering practices.Strong understanding of acceptance criteria, test-driven specifications, and documentation-driven software delivery.Insurance / InsurTech Domain ExpertiseMandatory experience in one or more of the following:Property & Casualty InsuranceSpecialty InsuranceRental Equipment InsurancePowersports InsuranceMarine / Boat InsuranceCommercial Insurance ProgramsRisk Management PlatformsPolicy Administration SystemsQuoting & Rating EnginesClaims Management SystemsUnderwriting WorkflowsInsurance Agency/Broker PlatformsPreferred QualificationsExperience working with InsurTech startups or digital insurance platforms.Knowledge of insurance compliance and regulatory requirements.Experience integrating with insurance carrier systems and third-party APIs.Familiarity with booking and reservation platforms.Understanding of risk assessment and loss prevention processes.Experience in event-driven architectures and SaaS product environments.Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience working directly with U.S.-based product and business teams.Strong documentation and requirement analysis skills.Self-driven with the ability to work independently in distributed teams.Experience5-10+ years of software engineering experience.Minimum 2-3 years within Insurance or InsurTech.Demonstrated experience delivering products using Spec-Driven Development methodologies.
