Job Title : Certification Engineer-Fuel Systems Experience Location : Everett, WA (Onsite) Duration : Full Time Job Description Summary Under general supervision, works with other engineering functions from design through production to implement procedures for testing. Selects testing specifications for ensures testing procedures are in compliance with industry specific standards. Documents procedures and recommendations for all phases of testing. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and one to four years of experience. Job Description Testing Engineer - Experienced Support executing certification activities on the 777X for Fuel systems Knowledge on Aerospace Environmental Testing such as thermal testing, vibration test and others per RTCA DO-160/MIL-STD-810 Experience working 14 CFR Part 25 and EASA CS-25 aspects General ability to conduct a test, compilation of test sequence, monitor progress of the test and test parameters, and record test activities while being able to accommodate / troubleshoot / maintain any unforeseen events that occur during the test. Participate in test readiness reviews, safety reviews and data/control systems checkout to minimize risk Experience with regulatory agencies' procedures and process Knowledge of integration, verification and certification processes Knowledge of Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) and Airworthiness Directives (ADs) Experience working cross functionally Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong problem-solving skills Support development assurance requirements validation and verification activities along with critical system safety assessments. Coordinate internally to meet system and airplane requirements across multiple functions Assist in developing design solutions to support product improvements Engineer will have prior experience and knowledge with valves, pumps, sensors or similar Propulsion systems on an aircraft You will support the authoring of certification documents such as equipment qualification test, and certification test plans/reports/summaries, system safety assessments, and system description documentation Manages and prioritizes multiple tasks in support of certification schedules Communicates project status, risks, issues, and opportunities to program leadership Job Type: Full-time Ability to Commute: Everett, WA 98203 (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Everett, WA 98203: Relocate before starting work (Required) Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
