Ideal candidates must have previous experience in the design and engineering of automotive manufacturing conveyor systems.Perform design and engineering of conveyor systems for automotive customersPerform engineering calculations for stress analysis, load capacity, system integrity, etc.Generate Bill of Materials (BOMs), work orders, and other documentation to support manufacturing and procurementCheck drawings, validate designs, and ensure all deliverables meet project specifications and standardsProvide technical support to manufacturing, installation and maintenance teams during the project lifecycleOther general engineering tasks as neededRequirementsThis is how you will take us forward:Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering highly preferred (BSME)5 plus years of experienceStrong experience with AutoCAD and/or InventorAutomotive experience neededStrong communication and organizational skillsWillingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationallyHighly proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Highly analytical and detail-orientedAbility to identify and resolve technical issues related to conveyor design and functionalityNo Sponsorship is available at this timeEDAG Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce.
