An established and highly regarded law firm with multiple offices throughout California is seeking a Senior Family Law Attorney to join its Santa Clara, California office. The firm has built a strong statewide reputation for quality legal services and offers attorneys the support, resources, and connectivity of a multi-office platform while maintaining a collaborative local office environment.This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an attorney who wants to take ownership of growing the family law presence in the Santa Clara market. The selected attorney would be one of the primary family law practitioners in that office and will play a key role in developing the practice, handling incoming matters, and helping attract new family law business.About the OpportunityThe firm is seeking an experienced family law attorney who is comfortable managing cases independently while also helping build and expand the local family law department. Although based in Santa Clara, the attorney will have ongoing support from attorneys and staff in the local office, as well as regular virtual collaboration with the firm's broader family law team across California.ResponsibilitiesHandle family law matters including divorce, custody, support, property division, modifications, and related proceedingsManage cases from intake through resolution, including hearings, mediation, negotiation, and trial preparationServe as a key point of contact for family law matters in the Santa Clara officeAssist in developing and growing the local family law practice through client relationships and business development effortsDraft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and other legal documentsRepresent clients in court appearances, mediations, and contested mattersCollaborate regularly with attorneys and staff across the firm's California officesQualificationsActive California Bar license in good standingMinimum of 2+ years of direct family law experience requiredStrong knowledge of California family law procedure and courtroom practiceAbility to independently manage cases and client relationshipsInterest in leadership and helping grow a practice areaStrong communication, negotiation, and advocacy skillsWork Environment & SupportBased in the firm's Santa Clara officeSupported by attorneys and staff at the local officeFrequent virtual meetings and collaboration with the firm's statewide family law departmentLeadership role with autonomy and visibilityStrong infrastructure and established multi-office platformCompensation & Benefits$130,000–$160,000+ annual base salary, depending on experienceBonus opportunities on top of base compensationComprehensive benefits packagePTO and additional firm-sponsored benefitsSignificant long-term growth potential within a respected California firmApply today to learn more about this excellent opportunity!
