An opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide temporary outpatient therapy coverage starting in early June 2026. This assignment supports continuity of care during a team member's maternity leave and requires a professional comfortable managing a full caseload independently. The ideal candidate will have a background in outpatient therapy and a strong focus on upper extremity rehabilitation.Location: This position is based in Wilsall, Montana, a community known for its scenic beauty, outdoor recreational opportunities, and welcoming small-town atmosphere. It is an excellent setting for professionals who appreciate a balance of work and nature.Key Responsibilities:Deliver comprehensive outpatient occupational therapy services, managing an average caseload of approximately 74 patients per month.Provide specialized hand therapy and upper extremity rehabilitation.Occasionally support acute care therapy needs as required.Maintain continuity of care and specialized services during the maternity leave period.Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient-centered treatment plans.Qualifications and Experience:Licensed Occupational Therapist with current credentials.Proven experience managing outpatient therapy caseloads independently.Strongly preferred: Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential or demonstrated advanced hand therapy experience.Ability to handle complex and high-acuity upper extremity cases confidently.Contract Details:Start Date: Early June 2026.Duration: Estimated 12-16 weeks (flexible based on needs).Setting primarily outpatient with some acute care involvement.This contract role offers the chance to practice in a supportive environment while making a meaningful impact on patient access and care continuity.
