Certified Surgical TechnicianAppleton, WI, 54915 - Onsite 3 months+ Contract Experience Level: 1-3 years Department: Surgery Shift Timings 11:00-19:30 Hours Monday to Friday (5 Days/8 Hours) Per Week: 40 HoursRoles and ResponsibilitiesPreparing sterile operating rooms for surgeries. Sterilizing equipment and instruments. Stocking adequate supplies for surgery. Preparing patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites. Providing support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies. Tracking surgical supplies. Staying up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures. Working well with surgeons, surgical assistant, nurses and general surgical team. Helping provides great patient care.Minimum QualificationsCertified - Graduate of Surgical Technology program, BLS Rotating Shifts: Monday - Friday. Open to 8- or 10-hour shifts. 11:00-19:30; 12:00-20:30; Call: based on department needs; Weekends: call based on department needs; Holidays: call based on department needs Experience: Inpatient and Outpatient surgeries; General, GYN, Urology, Dental, Plastics, ENT, Ortho, Podiatry, Neuro, Vascular; Robotic procedures.Required SkillsCertified Surgical Technician (CST)Certifications and Clearance RequirementsBasic Life Support (BLS)
