This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both team members and customers.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain a clean and organized warehouse by sweeping floors, cleaning restrooms, and ensuring work areas are orderlyBreak down boxes, repair pallets, and repackage materials as neededPerform material handling duties including picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment or pickupAssist with dispatching orders when customers arrive to pick up suppliesLoad and unload trucks, including operating a forklift when necessaryStock shelves and assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and product organizationInteract with customers in person and over the phone, providing friendly and professional serviceRecommend products and assist customers with selecting the right materials or equipmentProcess orders, handle cash transactions, and utilize computer systems for order entry and trackingSupport overall store and warehouse operations by collaborating with team membersMaintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively at all timesQualificationsPrevious warehouse, material handling, or customer service experience preferredStrong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customersDependable, reliable, and self-motivated with a strong work ethicAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shiftBasic computer skills and ability to learn inventory and order management systemsStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesForklift experience is a plus but not requiredMust present well, be friendly, and maintain a clean, professional appearance
