Quality ManagerLocation: Vineland, NJ (On-site)Reports to: General ManagerAbout the OpportunityAn established advanced materials manufacturer is seeking a Quality Manager to lead and strengthen its Quality Management System while partnering closely with operations, engineering, and leadership to drive manufacturing excellence.This is a high-visibility leadership role reporting directly to the General Manager, responsible for ensuring quality standards across manufacturing operations while championing a “right-the-first-time” culture that reduces variation, strengthens process control, and drives continuous improvement.The ideal candidate brings strong ISO 9001 experience, a hands-on approach to plant quality, and the ability to lead teams while solving complex manufacturing challenges.What You’ll DoLead the Quality Management SystemMaintain and continuously improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management SystemEnsure compliance with documented procedures, work instructions, and quality standardsLead internal audits and support external customer and regulatory auditsManage Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes and system documentationPartner with Manufacturing OperationsWork closely with Operations and Engineering to ensure strong process capability and controlReview production orders, quality plans, and technical prints for accuracySupport quality planning for new product introductionsOversee inspection processes including first article, in-process, and final inspectionsEnsure proper identification and disposition of non-conforming materialsDrive Continuous ImprovementLead root cause analysis for customer complaints, supplier issues, and internal quality eventsImplement corrective actions and validate effectivenessUse data and quality metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunitiesChampion waste reduction and operational efficiency initiativesManage Inspection & Measurement SystemsEnsure calibration and traceability of measurement equipmentMaintain accuracy and reliability of inspection processesSupport validation of measurement and inspection methodsLead and Develop the Quality TeamProvide leadership and direction to Quality Supervisors and TechniciansSupport training on quality standards, procedures, and customer requirementsPromote a culture of accountability, ownership, and quality excellenceCustomer & Supplier QualityServe as a key contact for customer quality communication and issue resolutionParticipate in customer audits, visits, and technical discussionsWork with suppliers to address quality issues and drive corrective actionsWhat We’re Looking For3–5+ years of Quality leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial environmentsStrong experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management SystemsDemonstrated success in root cause analysis, CAPA, and process improvementExperience partnering with operations and engineering teams in a manufacturing settingStrong communication skills and ability to interact with customers and suppliersEducationAssociate degree in a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.Equivalent industry experience may be considered.Why This Role Stands OutDirect visibility with plant leadershipOpportunity to shape and improve the entire quality systemWork within a mission-critical manufacturing environmentLead a team and influence operations, engineering, and customer quality outcomesFinal compensation will be based on experience, location, and qualifications.SolomonEdwardsGroup, LLC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
