System Administrator

Systems AdministratorBasic Qualifications :-1-2 years Linux/Windows System Administration skills-Security+ Certification-Knowledge and ability to work with third party products, as required-Integration and test experience desired-The ability to work independently in a lab environment-Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills-Must be able to obtain & maintain a security clearance at the SECRET level or higherDesired skills :-1-2 years’ experience supporting UNIX based users on a LAN, including operating systems-Experienced in the installation of COTS-based computer systems.-Experience solving end-user computer system problems and improving performance on the following platforms/operating systems: Solaris, Linux RedHat& RedHawk, Concurrent PowerMax, HP-UX and HP-RT.-Ability to install and evaluate COTS software products and tools.-Working knowledge of COTS software configuration management tools and processes is required.-Working knowledge of data communications and networking is required.-Experience working with customer/user representatives is required.-Experience working on AEGIS Computer Systems B/L 5-B/L9AS&T is committed to providing a work environment that is free from unlawful discrimination and harassment in any form.
