IT Systems Administrator

Join a world-class team of scientists, engineers, and business professionals to advance the state-of-the-art in quantum computing.We are seeking an IT Systems Administrator who will be the face of the IT department, located in our Boulder, Colorado office and offering support to all our offices nationally. Responsible for IT systems, including hardware management, user support, administration, software licensing, compliance with federal standards, and implementing IT processes and procedures.Job Requirements Implement and maintain a flexible IT infrastructure for scientists, engineers, and business teamsOversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and security systems. Work with outside contractors on specialty networksOnboarding and offboarding of employees, including hardware selection, configuration, purchasing, access control, and inventory management of company-owned computing resourcesAdministration, management, and troubleshooting of Linux and Windows servers and employee laptops running Linux, Windows, and MacOSMonitoring, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of internal and external wired and wireless networks and VPN infrastructureKnowledge and implementation of general IT and cybersecurity best practicesAssist in the administration of Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud computing servicesMaintain Atom Computing’s portfolio of SaaS tools and services. Ensure compliance with relevant IT regulations and standardsExperience & EducationBachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 5+ years of experience in an IT support roleQualificationsExtensive experience with a wide array of operating systems, networking technologies, SaaS and cloud computing services (Okta, GSuite, 365, Asana, Slack, AWS/Azure, etc.)Reputation for responsiveness, reliability, creative problem-solving ability, and attention-to-detailAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a rapidly changing work environmentExcellent communication, listening, responsiveness and people skillsStrong organizational skillsExperience in using and troubleshooting Windows, Linux, MacBook's and Mac-related software and hardwareAtom Computing provides a wide variety of perks and benefits, including fully paid medical,dental, and vision insurance for our employees and their dependents.
