You’ll work on services that handle real-time offer ranking and optimization, traffic routing, scoring algorithms, and lead delivery — all in a microservices architecture where every decision is measured, tested, and continuously optimized. You’ll build new services from scratch, wire up agentic workflows that automate operational bottlenecks, and ship features that have direct, measurable impact on revenue. Our engineering team is agile and lean. You own it, you ship it, you measure it.You’ll report to the Director of Engineering and work alongside a team of engineers building and shipping across the PATH stack. Your ability to design and ship reliable systems is what qualifies you to direct AI-driven development.What you’ll do:Build and evolve scoring services that rank and optimize offer selection and placement in real timeArchitect and ship new microservices from concept to production — rapid prototyping is the norm, not the exceptionDesign agentic automation flows that replace manual operational work with intelligent, self-directing pipelinesContinuously optimize platform performance — latency, throughput, and revenue impact are your metricsWork across the full stack in a microservices environment on AWS (EKS, ECS, DynamoDB, Athena, S3)Work with the infrastructure team to build out infra with Terraform/Atlantis and deploy via ArgoCDWhat we’re looking for:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; 1–3 years of professional software development experience accepted in lieu of a degreeStrong software engineering fundamentals — you write clean, shippable codeExperience with Go or TypeScript; Python familiarity is a plusComfort working in AWS cloud environmentsFluency with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude) and a mindset for using them to move fasterInterest or experience in building agentic workflows (tool-calling patterns, automation pipelines)You’ll ship to production your first week and talk directly to the team about what to build nextCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $90,000–$140,000 base, depending on experienceQuarterly bonus tied to company performanceAnnual equity distributions — eligible yearly based on individual performanceLocation: Austin, TX.
