Financial Analyst
The Financial Analyst will deliver actionable insights to improve margins and support strategic decision-making. This role will focus on cost accounting, financial analysis, and operational support to drive cost control, enhance profitability, and enable efficient resource allocation across the organization. Primary Responsibilities:• Maintain accurate product costing and reconcile variances between actual and standard costs. • Monitor COGS and inventory transactions to identify cost reduction and margin improvement opportunities. • Increase Gross Margin by developing or improving cost models. • Conduct profitability analysis by product, customer, or project. • Assist with preparation of financial reports and analysis to track performance against budget and forecast. • Support budgeting and forecasting processes in line with strategic initiatives. • Partner with operations, purchasing, and production to control overhead and manufacturing costs. • Provide financial input on pricing, capital investments, and process improvements to enhance margins. Qualifications Needed: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar. • 1+ years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or a related role. • Ability to demonstrate understanding of costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting. • Advanced MS Excel skills.
