Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry / PCU / Stepdown Location: Bridgeport, WV Agency: Core Medical Group Pay: $2,070 per week Shift Information: Nights Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/7/2026 About the Position Job Title Registered Nurse (RN) - IMC / PCU / Stepdown Location Bridgeport, WV Schedule / Job Type Contract | Full-Time | Night Shift | Onsite Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in an intermediate care/stepdown unit with an 18-bed capacity and a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio Manage and titrate drips including Nitroglycerin, Neo, and Cardene per established protocols Care for patients with diagnoses including post-MI with sheath pull, ADHF, post-op vascular, GI bleed, and DKA Monitor telemetry on all assigned patients and independently read and interpret cardiac strips Manage patients requiring BiPAP and CPAP respiratory support Float to other units as needed and adhere to every-other-weekend and holiday rotation schedules Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Current ACLS certification Current BLS certification Experience caring for stepdown or intermediate care unit patient populations Demonstrated ability to titrate vasoactive and cardiac drips Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips Preferred Experience / Skills Prior experience with post-operative vascular or cardiac patient populations Familiarity with BiPAP and CPAP management at the bedside Experience working alongside PCT support staff in a team-based care model Why Join Us Work in a well-supported unit with both a charge nurse and house supervisor available each shift, with the charge nurse typically carrying no patient assignment under normal circumstances No on-call or standby requirements, offering a more predictable and balanced work schedule
