The selected candidate will contribute to front-end and back-end development, system design, database development, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and application enhancements. The ideal candidate is a hands-on .NET developer with strong full-stack experience who can work effectively across application development, databases, APIs, system integration, and technical documentation.Local NY/NJ candidates only. Hybrid position.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, implement, and maintain enterprise applications.Develop front-end and back-end web applications using .NET and modern web technologies.Develop and integrate Web Services, WCF, REST APIs, and application interfaces.Develop system designs, technical specifications, application diagrams, and supporting documentation.Design and develop database solutions using Oracle and SQL Server.Develop reports, audit trails, logging, and application security mechanisms.Analyze technical requirements and evaluate alternative solutions.Perform application integration, testing, troubleshooting, and system evaluation.Support application modernization, enhancements, software conversions, and system implementations.Provide technical support for application, database, and integration issues.Collaborate with managers, senior developers, support teams, and business stakeholders.Provide technical and programming assistance to other development teams as needed.Required Qualifications3+ years of professional software development experience, with strong .NET development experience.Hands-on experience with C#/.NET, MVC, HTML5, jQuery, and Bootstrap.Experience developing full-stack web applications, including both front-end and back-end components.Experience with Web Services, WCF, REST APIs, or similar API-based applications.Strong experience with Oracle and SQL Server, including database design, development, and troubleshooting.Knowledge of data structures, data manipulation, and application data processing.Experience with software development, testing, implementation, and system integration.Experience developing technical and user documentation.Experience with software conversions, application upgrades, or modernization initiatives.Ability to analyze requirements, design solutions, and support implementation throughout the development lifecycle.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.Preferred QualificationsFull-stack enterprise application development.API and web services integration.Application modernization and legacy system conversion.Database development and performance troubleshooting.Enterprise systems integration.QA, automated testing, and software quality practices.Agile/Scrum development experience.Experience working across mainframe, mid-range, Windows, and enterprise application environments.Why Join 4A Be part of a mission-driven, women-owned consulting firm with a reputation for excellence.Work on high-impact projects across federal and commercial clients.Collaborate in an inclusive, growth-oriented culture where innovation is valued.Access career development programs, mentorship, and learning opportunities.Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, flexible work options, and a focus on work-life balance.Equal Opportunity Statement4A Consulting is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to an inclusive hiring process.
