Carpentry is a craft that requires precision and dedication to detail. The Carpenter’s role is to perform skilled work involving rough and finish carpentry. This may include framing walls, insulation work, drywall and acoustical ceilings, door & window installation, painting, cabinetry installation, etc.

Responsibilities of a Carpenter at The Alan Group:
Being reliable and punctual are essential along with understanding time management and ability to prioritize workload to meet schedules and deadlines
Knowledge to safely operate power tools including air hammers, drills, saws, etc.
Ability to meet the physical requirements needed for the job, such as standing or walking for prolonged periods, lifting or carrying supplies, and working with your hands
Adhere to safety and quality standards of The Alan Group’s procedures and OSHA including PPE gear and jobsite safety
Bring your own hand tools to the site, and cordless drill
As an employee, you will be responsible to represent our brand in a professional manner, which includes dress, demeanor and language
Here are the minimum requirements to be a Carpenter at The Alan Group:
Valid and clean driver’s license
High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education is great but it is not required. If you have specific machine training or certifications, please let us know.
Safety is important, we require up-to-date OSHA training and First Aid/CPR. If you aren’t current, we can offer training courses
Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications
5-7+ years of demonstrated carpentry experience, along with 2+ years in commercial construction
Benefits:
Salary $27-35 per hour with overtime possible, depending on demonstrated experience and skill
