Windows Server Administrator, Senior

OverviewOur client is seeking a Senior Windows Server Administrator for a Federal Government project onsite in Kingstowne, Virginia. The program provides a secure, web-based, real-time financial system that supports modernized business processes and information exchanges. As a Windows Administrator, your responsibilities will include server provisioning, backup and recovery, patching, STIG application on servers troubleshooting, user account maintenance, scripting, and technical documentation.Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an Interim or Active Secret Clearance.Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Experience on the Windows Server side (preferred 2019/2022) is a must, not just Windows Desktop 3+ years of experience with the following: Windows/RHEL servers within an AWS Cloud Environment (EC2). WSUS Active Directory Remote Desktop Gateway Domain Controllers PowerShell CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent is required, but can be obtained within the first few months Familiarity with Amazon Web Services Cloud (AWS) - AWS Cloud Environment (EC2).
