Manage and resolve customer inquiries; research requests utilizing available resources. Respond to emails Provide borrowers with loan servicing information. Update Reverse Mortgage Servicing System (RMSS). Sending initial and follow up correspondence to borrowers. Request and review inspection reports to HUD guidelines. Request extension from HUD. Disburse repair set aside. Perform any other related duties as required by management. Qualifications Education High school education or equivalent required. Experience/Training One (1) year applicable experience is required. higher education in office practices preferred. Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Skills and Abilities Must have the ability to complete each duty and responsibility mentioned satisfactorily and accurately. Software Skills: Must have the ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Reverse Mortgage Servicing System (RMSS). Communication Skills: Must have the ability to read and understand instructions, correspondence, notes, letters and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Critical Thinking Skills: Ability to utilize common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral or diagrammed instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving several known variables in situations of a routine nature. Compensation: The hourly range for this position is $15.30 - $19.12 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. Working Conditions Work is performed either in a professional or home office environment with no unusual hazards. There may be some overtime depending on the department needs. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Requirements While performing the functions of this job, the employee is continuously required to talk or hear; regularly required to sit; frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms; and occasionally required to stand, walk, climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
