As the Specialist, you will perform factual research of documentation and data to support defense litigation efforts and in response to subpoenas.The Defense Litigation Specialist WillManage, monitor and track litigation matters, including defense litigation, contested foreclosures, and subpoenasWork with clients and servicing systems to retrieve and provide documentation and loan-level data to in-house and outside counsel in support of defense effortsResearch and evaluate findings by attorneys or business partnersResolve litigated issues as directed by in-house counselOrganize case materials and research to be presented to managementPerform other related duties as required and assignedDemonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and valuesWhat You’ll BringAssociate’s degree or equivalent work experienceFinancial Services and/or mortgage industry experience requiredKnowledge pertaining to the legal process and proceduresAbility to analyze mortgage industry related documentsProficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and mortgage related platformsWhy You Should JoinAs one of the top mortgage lenders in the country, Pennymac has helped over 4 million lifetime homeowners achieve and sustain their aspirations of home.
