An established regional general contractor is seeking an Estimator to support its preconstruction team on commercial and multi-family projects. This office-based role offers hands-on estimating exposure, strong mentorship and clear long-term career progression for an early-career construction professional. Client Details Our client is a long standing partner in the Denver Metro area. They are well known for their retention, culture, and relationships internally and externally. Description Key Responsibilities As the Estimator, you will support the preconstruction and estimating function, reporting into senior estimating leadership and collaborating closely with project management.Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial and multi-family construction projectsPerform accurate quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications and other project documentationSupport subcontractor and supplier outreach, including bid solicitation and trackingAssist with bid levelling, scope reviews and pricing analysis under the guidance of senior estimatorsMaintain and update estimating databases and historical cost informationReview plans, specifications and addenda to ensure full and accurate scope coveragePrepare bid proposals and supporting documentation for tender submissions Profile The Successful Applicant For the Estimator role, we are seeking:2+ years' experience in construction estimating, project engineering or a related role (internships welcome)A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline (preferred)Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsFundamental understanding of construction methods, materials and terminologyProficiency in Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suiteExperience with estimating software such as Bluebeam or On-Screen Takeoff (advantageous)Strong analytical, organisational and communication skillsThe ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, office-based environment Job Offer What's on OfferCompetitive salary ranging from $75,000 - $115,000, depending on experienceComprehensive health, dental and vision insurance401(k) with company matchingPaid time off and recognised holidaysStructured training, mentorship and clear long-term career progression within estimating and preconstructionThe opportunity to develop your career with a stable contractor known for repeat business and long-standing client relationships If this opportunity aligns with your background, we'd love to hear from you.
