Position Title: Football Recruiting Work-Study Level 1Department: AthleticsReports To: Assistant Athletic Director/Football Coaching StaffKEY RESPONSIBILITIESRecruiting Operations & DataEnter, update, and verify recruit information (contact info, academics, film links, social handles) in the recruiting database/CRM.Tag recruits by position, class, geography, and pipeline school; maintain status boards.Log all touches (text, email, call notes, campus visits) and weekly activity metrics. Messaging & OutreachSend pre-approved texts/emails to HS coaches and prospects tied to weekly game results (win/loss) and milestones (offers, camp invites, academic updates).Build segmented lists (by grad year, position, region) and schedule sends per content calendar.Track deliverability and response rates; flag hot leads for coach follow-up. Graphic Design & ContentCreate quick social/DM/email graphics (offers, game results, visit promos, birthday/commit congrats) using approved SU brand kits (maroon #510000 / white) and logos.Edit/resize images for IG, X, Stories/Reels, and email headers; maintain organized asset folders.Ensure all content follows brand guidelines and accessibility best practices (alt text, legible contrast). Visits & EventsAssist with official/unofficial visit prep: itineraries, nametags, parking passes, photo ops, campus tour coordination, and check-in.Confirm attendance via text/email, collect RSVPs, and prepare packets (agenda, compliance forms).Day-of support: greet families, guide between sessions, capture photos, and post even follow-ups. Preferred QualificationsExperience with spreadsheets/CRMs (Google Sheets, Airtable, ARI/Verified Athletics or similar).Social media know-how (IG, X/Twitter) and short-form video familiarity.Event coordination or customer-service experience.Interest in sports communications, marketing, or coaching.
