This position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and well-functioning environment to ensure a pleasurable experience for our Members and guests, particularly during afternoon and evening events.The Maintenance Attendant works across multiple areas of Club operations, assisting with cleaning, furniture movement, lighting setup, and general facility upkeep. You:Thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environmentCan work independently and manage tasks efficiently • Demonstrate strong attention to detail • Respond promptly and professionally to requestsMaintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced settingAre flexible and willing to work indoors and outdoors as neededAs a Maintenance Attendant, you help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that supports every Member and guest experience.The Essentials (Core Responsibilities)Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of storage spaces, hallways, elevators, and public areas as assignedPerform general cleaning duties including carpet care, vacuuming, window cleaning, and trash removal according to daily and weekly schedulesAssist with moving furniture and event setup, including lighting arrangementsRespond promptly to Member and supervisor requests • Report damages or maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Director • Support the safe and efficient operation of maintenance equipment • Maintain observation of Club maintenance standards at all timesThe Expectations (Performance & Leadership)Work effectively both independently and as part of a teamDemonstrate efficiency and accuracy in completing assigned tasksFollow all safe operating procedures when using equipmentMaintain awareness of surroundings and anticipate operational needsPrevent unnecessary equipment breakdown by reporting concerns promptlyMaintain flexibility for extended hours and varying shiftsUphold professionalism and service standards in all interactionsContribute positively to the Club's culture and operational successThe Standards (Qualifications & Professional Conduct)High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training preferred)Previous experience in general maintenance or physical labor preferredAbility to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditionsKnowledge of proper chemical handling and Bloodborne Pathogens procedures preferredBasic conversational English with reading and writing ability for communication with Members and supervisorsStrong interpersonal skills and service-oriented mindsetPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods (up to 8 hours)Frequent walking and mobility throughout the propertyAbility to reach above shoulder height and perform various physical movementsLift and carry up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionallyPush or pull carts and equipment up to 250 poundsWork in variable temperature conditions and noise levelsExposure to cleaning chemicals
