We offer career opportunities in print and mail production, with medical, dental, vision insurance and a competitive 401K.Location: 605 Territorial Dr Bolingbrook, IL 60440Work Hours: 6am - 2:30pm, with expected mandatory additional hours including weekendsPay: Starting at least $26.00 per hour based on experience/ skillsWe regret to inform you that currently, Amsive DOES NOT provide work sponsorship opportunities.Maintenance Technician conducts proactive machine maintenance, shared machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service to ensure optimum productivity of equipment.Skills, Experience, and Qualifications: Maintenance experience in mailing, packing machines/production machinesTechnical knowledge of high-speed production equipment, mechanical/electrical equipmentGood verbal and written communication skillsStrong conflict / issue resolution skills with a strong aptitude for decision-makingEnglish fluency in reading, writing, and speaking requiredBilingual Spanish in reading, writing and speaking preferredProficient with internet research, MS Office - Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to operate a PC. Essential Functions: Provides proactive support in maintaining production equipment, helping to ensure that production machines are operating at optimum levelsTechnical knowledge to work on high-speed production equipment, mechanical and electrical equipment, with some computer operationsWorks in a team-oriented environment to achieve productivity goalsPerforms emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine serviceShares set up responsibilities with operators for scheduled production runsRequires mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair production machinesMust become knowledgeable with operating system computers on each production machineSupport all production needs as necessary including operating equipment, relieving breaks and lunches and leading and assisting on line changeoversReads and interprets equipment manuals, Job tickets and work orders to perform required jobs /maintenance and serviceComply with OSHA safety and health rulesFocus on safety and urgency while supporting productionSupervisory Responsibilities: NoneWork Environment: Position operates in a regulated manufacturing print/mail production facilityPhysical Demands:Stand and walk for up to 12 hours, with frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 poundsPerform repetitive motions in a fast-paced production environmentSecurity Clearance: Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of all activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
