Data Engineer

They are dedicated to leveraging cutting-edge technology to enhance public safety and government agency effectiveness.The Role Design, develop, maintain, and optimize scalable ETL pipelines for advanced analytics and investigative workloads. Ingest, transform, and integrate diverse structured and unstructured data from various sources. Develop and optimize data pipelines supporting both streaming and batch ingestion frameworks. Manage, organize, and optimize data within modern cloud-based analytics platforms like Databricks Unity Catalog and SQL Server. Develop efficient SQL and Python-based data transformation processes for downstream analytics and machine learning. Implement data quality validation, lineage tracking, metadata management, and monitoring processes.What You'll Need Three (3) or more years of professional experience in data engineering or a related technical field. Demonstrated experience designing, building, maintaining, and optimizing scalable ETL pipelines. Strong SQL and Python programming skills for data ingestion, transformation, and processing. Experience with various data sources including flat files, JSON, XML, Excel, APIs, and graph/relational databases. Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog, SQL Server managed instances, or comparable cloud-based data platforms.
