DRT is seeking a high-performing Sales Account Manager to drive aggressive growth within our Precision business. This is a true hunter role for a manufacturing sales professional with experience in precision machining, OEM manufacturing, industrial sales, and technical business development who thrives on opening doors, winning new business, and building strategic customer relationships.If you're energized by prospecting, influencing executive decision-makers, and building a book of business from the ground up, we want to hear from you.Location Requirement: Must reside within commuting distance of Dayton/Kettering, OhioThe information below covers the role requirements, expected candidate experience, and accompanying qualifications.Relocation Assistance: Not availableTravel: Required as needed for customer and business development activitiesWhat You'll DoNew Business DevelopmentIdentify and win new strategic customers in manufacturing, industrial, and engineered products marketsDevelop new OEM and industrial manufacturing relationships across aerospace, defense, industrial, and engineered products markets. Build relationships with executive-level stakeholders and decision makersFull Sales Cycle OwnershipLead the complete sales process from prospecting and discovery through quoting, negotiation, and close Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements while balancing profitability goalsDrive urgency and momentum throughout lengthy technical sales cycles Present DRT's precision manufacturing capabilities and long-term value propositionPipeline & Growth StrategyManage pipeline activity, forecasting, and opportunity tracking within Salesforce CRMBuild and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities Drive revenue growth while maintaining focus on margins and operational capacityEstablish long-term customer partnerships that support sustainable business growth Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Finance teamsSupport customer solutions aligned with manufacturing capabilities and business objectivesHelp position DRT as a trusted manufacturing and precision solutions partnerWhat We're Looking ForSales & Business Development Experience5+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, strategic accounts, or technical salesExperience selling CNC machining, precision components, engineered products, or contract manufacturing solutions strongly preferred.
