Program Coordinator

Pyramid Tampa, a day training program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is seeking a Program Coordinator to be an integral part of the management team. The Program Coordinator carries a caseload and assists in creating community partnerships/support, ensuring the enrichment of the lives of Pyramid students. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, motivated and caring team player and be willing to work special events after hours, contribute to fundraising ideas and be dedicated to changing the lives of individuals with disabilities. Requirements Bachelors or equivalent experience preferred. Experience in conducting training and behavior management programs for people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. Two years of supervisory experience of at least 2 direct reports Valid Florida Driver's license; Safe driving record; 5 years driving experience Successful Level II background screening. Responsibilities: Ensuring the safety, well-being, health, comfort, development & self-esteem of Pyramid students Ensuring that each student has choices on-site and in the community and the opportunity to pursue activities that are meaningful to them Maintaining required paperwork, interfacing with families and supports, developing programming Leading a team of dedicated staff members.
