Lauderdale, FL officeQualifications:The information below covers the role requirements, expected candidate experience, and accompanying qualifications.Must be admitted in good standing to the Florida BarMust have a minimum of 4-10 years of litigation experience in personal injuryMust have experience in handling medical malpractice, personal injury matters in the litigation sideMust be able to independently handle all litigation matters from case transfer through resolution or trialMust be able to conduct initial client contact upon transfer of cases into litigationMust be able to draft, file, and amend complaints, including Notices of Intent (NOIs) in medical malpractice casesMust be able to draft and respond to written discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admissionMust be able to draft and respond to motions, including dispositive motions and motions for summary judgmentMust be able to conduct legal research and prepare legal memorandaMust be able to prepare clients for and attend depositions, mediations, settlement conferences, and arbitrationsMust be able to attend hearings and court proceedingsMust be able to negotiate settlements and advocate for favorable case resolutionsMust be able to draft proposals for settlement and review settlement statementsMust be able to communicate with opposing counsel to negotiate xhyhwjd and agree upon ordersMust be able to prepare medical chronologies when law clerk support is unavailableMust be able to conduct regular case reviews with paralegals and support staffMust be able to prepare cases for trial, including jury instructions, verdict forms, and trial exhibitsMust be able to prepare for and attend jury trialsBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceBonus payCommission pay
