At Autism and Behavioral Intervention (ABI), we are driven by a deep commitment to creating meaningful and lasting outcomes for both our clients and their families. Additionally, BCBAs at ABI have completed research within the center, and others have developed tools to contribute to our field, including RBT training materials and new assessments (The Meaningful Outcomes Treatment and Assessment Scale, and the Levels of Optimum Performance). ABI is led by a BCBA-D who is dedicated to providing high quality services and improving the field of ABA.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities. In this role, you will design and oversee individualized treatment plans, supervise behavior technicians, collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams, and ensure the highest quality of care and ethical standards. Experience with Practical Functional Analysis (PFA) and Skills Based Treatment (SBT) is valued at our organization as we prioritize compassionate care when building socially significant skill repertoires.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and continuously monitor programs tailored to the specific needs of each client.
Supervise and provide clinical oversight to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other direct service providers, including quarterly performance evaluations and skill development.
Conduct / provide supervision to master level students that are currently pursuing their certification.
Analyze behavioral data to guide treatment decisions and ensure measurable progress toward goals.
Collaborate with stakeholders and interdisciplinary team members to promote consistency and generalization of skills across settings.
Provide ongoing parent training and support to empower families in implementing behavior strategies at home and support to empower families in implementing behavior strategies at home and in the community.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure compliance with all clinical, ethical, and funding source guidelines (i.e. BACB, HIPAA, Insurance)
Maintain a minimum of 75% billable hours
Stay up to date on best practices in the field of ABA and maintain active BCBA certification through continuing education.
Uphold the highest standards of profession and ethical conduct in accordance with the BACB Professional and Ethical Compliance Code.
Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development activities as required.
Stay for a closing shift 1-2 nights each month as a part of a rotating schedule with the other BCBA’s
Attend monthly BCBA team meetings
Qualifications:
Required:
Master’s degree in psychology, applied behavior analysis, Special Education, or overlapping field.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification
Licensed in Utah to practice applied behavior analysis (or willing to acquire upon hiring)
Must be able to pass a background check
Preferred:
3+ years of experience working as a BCBA
1+ years of experience training master level students / providing supervision
