Process Engineer / Process Advisor (Retired)
This consultancy role provides a great opportunity to take short or longer term assignments of you choosing. The role gives you an opportunity to travel to different oil, gas and chemical facilities throughout the United States and Internationally. There is no obligation to take a certain assignment, or long term commitment needed. We are looking to build a small team of experienced consultants, likely retirees, who still feel they have something to offer without the demands of full time working.
You will provide field support during commissioning, start-up and/or operations. This could be based at our clients new oil, gas and petrochemical facilities or existing facilities undergoing turnarounds or operational studies.
We are seeking Process SMEs who have experience with any of the below:
Gas Treatment
Hydrotreating
Hydrocracking
Pressure Swing Absorption
Aromatics
sweetening technologies
Per diem, travel and accommodation will be provided for all assignments.
Responsibilities
Provide guidance on installations
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues
Give guidance on how to maintain products and equipment.
Train the commissioning, start-up and operations team on technology utilization.
Resolve product malfunctions.
Evaluate customer requirements to suggest optimal products or services.
Provide technical support as necessary
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
15+ years in Process Engineering
Vast experience of relevant technologies
Experience in a commissioning or operational facility environment
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $100.00 - $120.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 60 per week
